$70,000 over one year
to help improve and speed the implementation of CALPADS, California's longitudinal student data system. 

Chabot-Las Positas Communtiy College District, Pleasanton, CA
$300,000 over two and one-half years
to start a statewide professional development program to strengthen basic skills education at California community colleges.

California Judges Association, San Francisco, CA
$120,000 over two years
to build on its successful continuing education sessions for juvenile court judges with specialized ethics training.

Foundation for California Community Colleges, Oakland, CA
for the benefit  of the Career Ladders Project
$575,000 over two years 
to continue to provide technical assistance to the Career Advancement Academies and to launch a new California College Pathways community college hub.

 

Youth Grants

County of Fresno Department of Family and Children's Services, Fresno, CA
$125,000 over two years

to renew the Foundation's support for Fresno County's implementation of California Connected by 25's transitional services for youth aging out of foster care. 

California Department of Social Services f/b/o The Child Welfare Services Program Improvement Fund, Sacramento, CA 
$90,000 over one year
for the California Social Work Education Center to combine three WSJF-funded initiatives into a common framework and to develop training materials for California counties that adopt CC25.

Santa Clara County Social Services Agency, San Jose, CA 
$125,000 over two years
to renew the Foundation's support for Santa Clara County's implementation of California Connected by 25's transitional services for youth aging out of foster care. 

Administrative Office of the Courts, San Francisco, CA
$35,100 over nine months
to develop and field financial stress tests for California's 41 Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) nonprofits. 

California Department of Social Services f/b/o the Child Welfare Services Program Improvement Fund, Sacramento, CA
 $200,000 over one year
To redesign California's Independent Living Programs

Glenn County Human Resource Agency, Willows, CA
$85,000 over three years
to join California Connected by 25.

Youth Law Center, San Francisco, CA
$75,000 over one year
to improve the recruitment and training of California foster parents.

to support Bay Area asset-building organization to provide financial coaching to low-income families. 

Insight Center for Community and Economic Development, Oakland, CA

to help 4 community colleges tap federal employment and training dollars for their career technical education programs.
